Colour

Colour grades are based on the absence of colour - a D colour diamond is colourless, therefore has a higher value. Find out more

 

 

 

Carat

A diamond's size is measured in carats - the amount it weighs. Each carat is 200 milligrams and can be subdivided into 100 'points', allowing very precise measurements to the 100th decimal place. Find out more.
